Therefore, unless a project involves some form of cheating, backing support, predetermined trajectories, artificially created trading volume, intentionally created trends, liquidity, or volume inflation through BOTs, it seems nearly impossible to get listed without payment. The more a project starts from a healthy state, the more it struggles with these detached criteria.

In other words, CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap have listing criteria that seem to involve a degree of inflation, monetary influence, and prior knowledge of cheating techniques, essentially requiring somewhat clever, deceptive practices to meet their evaluation standards. This makes their review process appear quite opaque. Meanwhile, the fact that many scam coins are listed indicates that these platforms’ evaluation standards might not be genuinely reliable.
